Hay Day has become the favorite farming game among numerous players due to its beautiful and charming graphics. The game was released in 2012 for iOS and in 2013 for Android. In total, It has been downloaded more than 700 million times and has received an average rating of 4.5 out of 5. The players praise its concept of harvesting crops, feeding the animals and making goods.

The game is free to download and install. However, it offers in-app purchases. The levels are designed in a such way as to consume a lot of coins and diamonds in order to proceed in the game.

Level Up

There are around 800 Levels in the game. The game starts from level 1. Collecting the required Experience Points (XP) for that level can help you complete the level and then you’re upgraded to the next one. The game should be played from beginning to end. It is not possible to play any level from the middle, jump or skip any level.

It’s a good idea to not focus too much on leveling up. It’s important to focus on both the coins and XP. Collecting the XP can you help level up but what if you do not have the coins to buy the production building? It is not possible to make products without machines. It means you would not be able to complete the required XP for the coming levels.

Another thing is that after level 70, the player does not get any free reward on leveling up. Collect Currencies

In Hay Day, the player has to buy farm items, products and customization options. For this purpose, there’re 6 types of currencies used. All these things can not be bought with a single type of currency. Some things can be acquired with diamonds only like buying fuel from the valley, and some with coins.

So it means it is very much important to focus on collecting various currencies instead of just focusing on one. It is quite easier to collect coins than diamonds. Just like diamonds, other currencies like vouchers and puzzle pieces are way difficult to find.

Here are some tips to collect more money fast:

Plant the trees, harvest them and put the fruits in your roadside shop. Guava fruit has the highest sale price of 860 coins while Apple has the lowest of 160 coins. The Guava tree also takes more time to harvest than the apple tree.
There is another tip for you. If you need more coins do not do truck orders. Instead, sell your products in your shop. When you do a truck order, the reward amount splits into coins and XP.
Always participate in events. In town events, you get the double amount of coins. Hence it is the best strategy to make plenty of coins.
Keep your production machines running all the time and making products. Keep selling them and repeat.

Decoration Items

Decoration items beautify the town, farm and shop. They need to be purchased first before being used. However, some of them are given to the player as a reward for doing a specific activity. Once you buy them you can apply them or store them in your shop.

There is a special type of decoration as well called custom decorations. These are for Garden, Stonemason, Pedestal and Yard. You can not buy this using currency instead these can be won by participating in derbies.

One of the most important things to mention here is that the decorations are locked in the beginning. These get unlocked as you proceed in the game. Only one decoration is available to buy in Level 1.

Farm Items

Since Hay Day is all about farming, it has a vast amount of items inside the farm as well. Farming Buildings, Farm Animals and their goods, etc. Just like decorations, they are locked and should be bought first.

The player can also upgrade the item as well. For example, a Barn is a storage building used for storing production building products and animal goods. By upgrading it, you can increase its housing capacity.

There are a lot of things that can be collected from farm animals. Chicken produces eggs, Sheep produces wool and duck produces feathers. Harvesting from the animals is only possible if you feed them.
